The Dolphin Indoor Practice Air Structure is a state-of-the-art indoor practice facility and the first of its kind in Florida! It enhances the Miami Dolphin’s Training Facility, which was already considered one of the premier practice facilities in the National Football League.

The 96,800-square-foot air-supported field is the first significant expansion to the Dolphin’s Training Facility since it opened in 1993. Nicknamed “The Bubble,” it covers 2.2 acres on the west side of the Miami Dolphins Training Facility on the campus of Nova Southeastern University in Davie.

An engineering marvel, the high-wind hurricane zone solution was the brainchild of DeRose Design Consultants, responsible for all engineering disciplines, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. It spans 220’ x 440’ clear with no intermediate support and a 75’ clear ceiling. The fabric is extremely light, yet strong and can withstand 140 mile per hour winds as required under the Florida Building Code. The innovative HVAC systems maintain inflation and structural rigidity.
